From August 12 to August 15, ergoCentric attended the Association of Canadian Ergonomists’ (ACE) 50th annual national conference in St. John’s, providing ample opportunity for us to network with ergonomics practitioners, researchers, and students who shared their work and knowledge.
After the conference, ergoCentric donated all the ergonomic office solutions it had on display, including tCentric Hybrid and airCentric task chairs, an upCentric height adjustable table and ergonomic accessories to Young Adult Cancer Canada (YACC). Headquartered in St. John’s, YACC focuses on providing customized support programs across Canada to help people in their teens, 20s and 30s deal with their cancer experience.
“Since we started in 2000, our team has relied heavily on donated, used office furniture,” said Geoff Eaton, YACC’s founder. “We were excited when ergoCentric reached out with their offer of ergonomic office seating and appreciate the time their team took to make sure our staff were properly fitted and knew how to use the adjustment features of the chairs. We have the backs of young adults across Canada because partners like ergoCentric have ours, on behalf of the thousands of young adults we serve, thank you!”

ergoCentric has been a long-time supporter of ACE and regularly participates in its annual conference. This year was even more special when they donated all ergonomic display products to a wonderful charity like Young Adult Cancer Canada.
