Ergonomists test the adjustable features

On July 31, 2019, the new ergoCentric showroom&store located in downtown Toronto’s King Edward Hotel hosted local ergonomists for its summer “Lunch and Learn” event.

The event featured ergonomist Lyn Hatt demonstrating some of ergoCentric’s most popular ergonomic solutions such as the tCentric Hybrid office chair and upCentric height adjustable desks. Lyn demonstrated the unique features of the tCentric Hybrid office chair including Airless Cushion Technology, 5” of infinite back height adjustment and the multiple seat size options available in both mesh and foam and fabric. The tCentric Hybrid task chair also features the patent-pending tCentric armrest which is available in 4 combinations of vertical, lateral and 360° swivel adjustments.

The workplace is not complete without desks. ergoCentric’s upCentric electrical height adjustable tables come in 2 legged and 3-legged configurations. Here, Lyn demonstrated the benefits of the durable, open frame design. upCentric tables are available with tabletops made from Thermally Fused Laminates in a wide range of sizes.

In addition, those in attendance discussed the benefits of upCentric Mobile Workstation, the perfect solution for people on the move such as healthcare professionals.

At the end of the event, ergonomists were invited to test the adjustable features of different ergoCentric seating systems. The feedback we received from those in attendance was overwhelmingly positive. ergoCentric has more events planned for the new showroom&store – watch for new listings on the event section of our website as well as on our social media channels.
